Ergonomics and human movement focused redesign. Focusing on defining ones on limits, rather then the equipment.

A circular economy campaign and modular recovery kiosk engineered to close the loop in the consumer electronics lifecycle. By leveraging humor based marketing, this project addresses the psychological and physical barriers that transform obsolete devices into "drawer clutter".

Multisensory outdoor hub designed to mimic the warmth and communal draw of a fire pit. Allows the atmosphere of a campfire with an audio addition, without the hazard of smoke, maintenance of a real fire, or space constraints.

ECH0 is a high-performance, wearable illumination system engineered for the outdoors. The project redefines personal safety by integrating a powerful light source with an automated emergency beacon system.  - Inspiration: Firefighters, P.A.S.S. (Personal Alert Safety System)

This redesigned umbrella handle features subtle finger indentations that enhance grip and comfort, especially in windy conditions. Inspired by the challenges students face on a windy campus, the handle is shaped to fit naturally in either hand, making it both ergonomic and ambidextrous.

The goal for this piece was to take a traditionally 'cold' material like concrete and give it an organic, inviting flow. I wanted to see if I could mimic the relaxed silhouette of a classic Adirondack chair while maintaining a singular, continuous profile. By keeping a consistent 4-inch thickness throughout, the chair feels grounded and substantial, while the sweeping curves of the seat and lumbar support provide a surprising level of ergonomic comfort that you wouldn't expect from a solid cast form.

This wooden box is made from maple and cherry, with precise splined miter joints that add strength and visual interest. The lid fits neatly into a rabbeted frame, and the entire piece was built using a bandsaw and table saw.

Developed a functional solar-energy hub for a simulated Mars colony, focusing on structural efficiency and power distribution.

A space efficient, wall-mounted desk designed for college students living in dorms and compact apartments. This concept emphasizes flat-pack construction, transforming from a slim vertical unit into a fully functional workspace.

To better understand spatial relationships and structural composition, I recreated my metal water bottle using two different materials: cardboard and wooden dowels. This exercise focused on translating a familiar object into alternate forms to analyze its design and construction.
